Botsford Hospital Endoscopy

If your doctor has recommended a gastrointestinal (GI) exam, you probably have a few questions. Even if you've had a GI work-up before, you may be unfamiliar with current medical procedures, superior techniques and leading edge equipment now available at Botsford Hospital.

The Endoscopy Department has four state-of-the-art GI Endoscopy rooms, furnished with the latest procedure and monitoring equipment, which provide maximum accuracy, quality and safety. Our procedures are performed utilizing the services of a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide intravenous sedation to make the procedures as comfortable as possible for each patient.

The Endscopy Department provides patients and their families with the highest level of comfort, privacy and convenience, before, during and after examinations. Our process allows a patient to move smoothly and quickly through their procedure. Our nursing staff is highly trained and attends annual courses about trends and changes in GI nursing.

We are unable to give any medical advice or answer any medical questions over the telephone. If you have a medical question, you should contact your family physician.
