New Procedure for Sinus Suffers

More than 37 million people each year suffer from sinusitis, making it one of the most common health problems in the U.S. It is more prevalent than arthritis and hypertension. Physicians working with the Botsford Sinus Center Excellence can now perform a new surgical technique called balloon sinuplasty to treat chronic sinusitis symptoms.


What is Sinusitis?

Sinusitis is an inflammation of the sinus lining most commonly caused by bacterial, viral and/or microbial infections, as well as structural issues such as blockage of the sinus opening.
