Farmington Hills, Mich. (May 5, 2009)---Are you looking for a way to improve your health and relieve your stress? Don’t miss Botsford Hospital’s Tai Chi class offered every Wednesday with Dr. Alex Green, a Botsford pathologist. The class meets from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Community Room of Botsford Hospital’s Zieger Administration & Education Building. The first class you attend is free and each additional session is $5.
Tai Chi Chuan is an exercise, meditation and a martial art that is beneficial for improvement of health and for stress management. Tai Chi teaches breathing techniques to enhance lung capacity and stamina, and it also benefits the circulatory system. Dr. Green has been a teacher and student of Tai Chi for almost 20 years. He is associated with the Michigan Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan & Chi Kung Institute, directed by his teacher Sifu Stephen Britt.
