Family Physician Mary Ann Skoures, M.D., Joins Medical Staff at Botsford Hospital

Farmington Hills, Mich. (September 13, 2012)---Mary Ann Skoures, M.D., has joined the medical staff at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills. This board-certified family medicine physician sees patients at Botsford Primary Care Physicians located at 27031 Warren Road in Dearborn Heights, (313) 274-3320. 
After receiving the Master of Science in Medical Science and the Doctor of Medicine degrees from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Dr. Skoures completed her residency in family medicine at Beaumont Health System, Grosse Pointe Campus. 
Dr. Skoures speaks fluent Greek. Throughout her undergraduate, graduate and medical education, she worked at an analytical chemistry lab in Corinth, Greece. 
Among Dr. Skoures' many awards and accomplishments are serving as vice president of her medical school's Neurology Interest Group and receiving the Excellence Award from the Detroit Medical Center’s Department of Endocrinology. 
She has wide-ranging volunteer experiences, from community activism to pro bono medical care for the disadvantaged. 
Dr. Skoures is a member of several professional societies, including the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association.
