Botsford News Release
Farmington Hills, Mich. (November 11, 2011)---Sally Bruns, D.O., an adult medicine specialist, has joined the medical staff at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills. She is a member of Botsford's Midwest Internal Medicine Associates, a medical office located at 20317 Farmington Road in Livonia.
As a "hospitalist," Dr. Bruns' cares for acutely ill hospitalized inpatients at Botsford. Research shows that hospitalists reduce both length of stay and treatment costs, and improve the overall efficiency of care for hospitalized patients. She also treats residents of the Rehabilitation and Continuing Care Unit located at Botsford Commons Senior Community.
Dr. Bruns received her medical education from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Missouri, where she was among the top 15 percent of her class. She served her internal medicine residency at Botsford Hospital.
