Novi, MI (November 12, 2008)--- Are you looking to get a head start on your New Year’s resolution? The Botsford Wellness Complex is hosting a “Stay Fit, Stay Healthy” Health Fair on Wednesday, December 3 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. that will offer a variety of free health screenings to access your current health level, evaluate goals and recommend specific wellness tips. The free event will focus on weight management and will include free wellness coaching and healthy snacks.
Talk to experts in the fields of wellness, nutrition, exercise, and weight loss and get advice from physicians on how to stay fit and healthy while keeping those extra pounds off. Enjoy exercise classes and access to fitness equipment and the pool.
Monica Pagels, Manager of the Botsford Center for Health Improvement (part of the Botsford Wellness Complex), says, “With the holiday season in full swing, we often forget to think about our own health. This fair is a great way for you to learn how to stay fit and healthy and maintain or lose weight through the holidays and beyond.”
The Botsford Center for Health Improvement is the first medical model fitness center in Metro Detroit. More than a health club, the Botsford Center for Health Improvement offers a “medical model” approach to all of its programs, integrating fitness, lifestyle and behavior management with medical and clinical practices.
