Botsford Offers Beginner CPR Class

Novi, MI (April 9, 2008)--- The Botsford Center for Health Improvement is hosting a Friends and Family CPR class on Wednesday, April 23 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.  This community awareness class is designed to help you and your loved ones know the basic first responder skills for cardiac emergencies.

This class is not a certification class; it is intended for beginners who want to learn how to take care of others during an emergency.  Debra Yake, American Heart Association Coordinator at the Life Support Training Institute, will teach this course.  The cost is $10 and includes a class manual, two wallet cards and a barrier device.  To reserve your spot, please call the Botsford Center for Health Improvement at (248) 473-3100.  The Botsford Center for Health Improvement is located at 39750 Grand River Ave. in Novi.

The Botsford Center for Health Improvement is the first medical model fitness center in Metro Detroit.  More than a health club, the Botsford Center for Health Improvement offers a “medical model” approach to all of its programs, integrating fitness, lifestyle and behavior management with medical and clinical practices.  To learn more about the Botsford Center for Health Improvement log on to www.botsford.org/bchi.
