Novi, MI (January 7, 2008)---Is your New Year’s resolution to exercise and eat better? Health and fitness seem to be on the minds of many people this month and joining health clubs is often a top priority in January. To help people keep their resolutions, the Botsford Center for Health Improvement is offering free enrollment fees for new members and one-month free membership for all existing members who sign a one-year contract. Monica Pagels, Manager of the Botsford Center for Health Improvement, says, “For those who choose to pay the whole year up front, they’ll receive 14 months for the price of 12. We’re also offering a variety of New Year, New You programs for members and non-members to help reach health and fitness goals for 2008.
Personal Training: One-on-one personalized fitness training with a certified trainer who will customize exercises to your needs and goals as well as help you stay motivated.
Boot Camp: An intense cardio and strength training workout designed for maximum calorie burning that will leave you feeling strong and energized. Meets Wednesdays, January 23 through February 27 from 6:00 to 6:45 p.m.
Zumba: A fusion of Latin and International music combined with high-energy, simple to follow, low impact Latin dance moves to create a dynamic, fun and effective cardiovascular and toning workout. Meets Tuesdays, January 22 through February 26 from 6:00 to 6:45 p.m.
Sculpt and Tone Class: A series of upper and lower body workouts that creatively combine dumbbell, Fitball, resistance bands and your own body weight while also integrating balance, core strength and postural awareness. Meets Thursdays starting January 24 from 6:00 to 6:45 p.m. Class is included in Botsford Center for Health Improvement membership or a $75 10-visit punch card can be purchased.
The Answer: Botsford’s team of dietitians, nurses and exercise experts will help you find the answers for obtaining a healthy weight and maintaining it through a healthy lifestyle. The six-week program is held on Wednesday evenings and Thursday mornings starting January 23.
