Farmington Hills, MI (May 31, 2007)--- Do you have an aging parent who is experiencing memory problems or depression? Are you a caregiver who needs assistance? There is a lifeline available at the new Botsford Senior Assessment Center located on the Botsford Commons Senior Community Campus in Farmington Hills. Under the leadership of Theodore Ruza, D.O., a psychiatrist at Botsford Hospital and the Jewish Home for the Aged, the assessment center is providing outpatient treatment options for seniors and their families.
The center offers an assessment and treatment to older adults who may be suffering from anxiety, memory problems, depression, loss, grief, functional decline or care giving issues. An assessment can evaluate a person’s medical, psychological and emotional well-being, as well as their home environment. Dr. Ruza says, “The earlier an assessment is made, the better we can help people continue to live safely where they feel most comfortable.”
Most insurance is accepted including Medicare. For more information about the Botsford Senior Assessment Center or to schedule an appointment, please call (248) 426-6930.
