Farmington Hills, MI (April 26, 2007)--- Looking for some new activities to enjoy this spring and summer? The Botsford Center for Health Improvement (BCHI) is offering some new programs for members and non-members that will keep you having fun all summer long.
8-Week Fitness Challenge: If you need a little extra pizzazz to your workout routine, BCHI’s 8-week Fitness Challenge Program is for you. The program includes individualized exercise programming within your target fat-burning zone and structured weight training including core exercises. Weekly classes begin Monday, May 21 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. or Wednesday, May 23 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
Members: $100; Non-members: $190 (includes membership during the eight-week program)
Golf Conditioning Program: BCHI’s 6-week golf conditioning program is designed to improve your golf game through education and hands-on fitness training. Each participant will receive a customized strength and conditioning program that meet the biomechanical and physiological demands of the sport. Weekly classes begin Monday, May 14 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. or Wednesday, May 16 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.
Members: $125; Non-members: $190 (includes membership during the six-week program)
Golf Seminar: Learn tips on how you can increase your swing range of motion and club head speed, prevent injury and improve your overall game. This FREE seminar also includes sample stability and balance and general conditioning exercises. Seminars are Thursday, May 3 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. or Saturday, May 5 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
Swim Lessons: Adult and child swim classes are forming now for members and non-members. Pre-registration is required. Please call for dates/times and to reserve your spot.
Members: $60 for a six-week session; Non-members: $75 for a six-week session
