Farmington Hills, MI (November 15, 2006)--- Bring your questions and paperwork to us! Botsford General Hospital’s trained enrollment counselors are reaching out to older adults and their family members during the first re-enrollment for the Medicare drug plan at a workshop on Tuesday, December 5 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Botsford General Hospital.
This free event is tailored to the needs of people who are eligible for Medicare and have not signed up for the prescription benefit or those who want to be sure they are in the right plan. The session is designed to help attendees understand the differences among the Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage programs being offered and then select and enroll in the plan that best meets the needs of the individual. Botsford’s trained enrollment counselors will be available to answer your questions, provide information about premiums and deductibles and help you to enroll in the plan of your choice. Family members are welcome to attend and sign up for their loved ones.
In order to enroll in a Medicare Prescription Plan, you should plan to bring your Medicare card and a list of your current medications. If you cannot afford to pay the monthly Medicare Prescription premium, you may qualify for assistance through the Extra Help Program.
