At Botsford Hospital, we believe health care services should be accessible to everyone. If you are unable to fulfill your financial obligation for payment for care you receive, we urge you to contact us. There are many alternatives available and we will help you to find the option that fits your financial situation.
Financial assistance programs include:
Short-term zero-interest installment loan program – Payment plans are offered for paying the full account balance within 18 months with no interest due.
Long-term low-interest loan program – Botsford works with HELP Financial Corporation, a private lending institution that specializes in medical loans. Flexible monthly terms are available at reasonable interest rates for 18 months up to five years.
Insurance Assistance– Botsford can assist patients in applying for state Medicaid assistance. Representatives are available to provide Medicaid applications and will help patients determine eligibility for Medicaid or other possible insurance resources and alternatives.
Charity Care – For patients who are not candidates for Medicaid, Botsford can offer a program to help ease health care costs. This program provides prorated discounts to qualified uninsured patients based on income, assets and financial need. Your charges will be reviewed to determine your eligibility for a charitable care discount rate to help reduce your balance.
