Drs. Cairgle, Gillman and Thomas believe that your care is their first priority. This means they make time to listen, talk and understand your medical concerns. These compassionate doctors have helped women from their teens to their senior years maintain vital, active health and allow patients to choose newest medical techniques in their own care.

They are interested in providing safe and innovative technology in treatment options, so many procedures are performed in their medical office. The staff is well prepared and trained to assist in procedures such as:

Premier's routine services include:

• A review of your health in general
• An annual gynecologic exam
• Check of health changes in the last year
  • Urine test
  • Heart and lung check
  • Breast exam
  • Blood pressure check
  • Pelvic exam
  • Pap smear

Teens
Drs. Cairgle, Gillman and Thomas treat healthy girls beginning age 13 and up. We talk about:

• breast and pelvic exams
• questions about development, puberty and peer pressure
• health and sexuality

They also may talk with mom about age-appropriate information for her daughter.

Young Women
Premier provides an annual gynecologic exam and can counsel about birth control and sexually transmitted diseases as requested.

Pregnant Women
Premier offers a pregnancy plan that encourages health for all our pregnant patients. The plan is a guideline for the visits you can plan on during a normal pregnancy. Childbirth classes are available to our patients as well.

Mid-Life Women
At 40 years, Premier's doctors recommend a baseline mammogram and then may recommend these annually, based on your health. Later, we counsel women on menopause symptoms and changes.

Senior Women
Your annual exam at this time includes a:

• breast exam
• check of your ovaries through a pelvic exam
• screen for cervical cancer through a pap smear every two years
• discussion about diet, nutrition and your emotional health

Premier's take pleasure in treating our patients.

Test Results
Premier's staff notifies patients with normal lab results by postcard. You will be called with any relevant, abnormal lab results. If you are sent for tests outside of this office, the staff will let you know the results.

Prescription Refills
Prescription refills may be handled over the telephone during office hours. Please allow 48 hours to process prescription renewals (excluding Saturday and Sunday). The office does not process prescription refills for any medications or narcotics after hours.

New Beginnings Maternity Center
Botsford Hospital's updated obstetrics unit, called New Beginnings Maternity Center, has newly renovated rooms and a family-oriented facility that focuses on a quality birth experience. You'll receive exceptional nursing care in a home-like, luxurious environment.

The private patient rooms and many amenities emphasize comfort and convenience. Look for treats, such as, a welcome package for the mom-to-be, room service and spa-like personal items for use during your hospital stay.
