Botsford patients have an opportunity to rent both the TV and telephone in a hospital patient room for a daily rate of $8.95. This includes free long-distance calling in the United States and Canada.
In addition, there is a billing fee of $5.25. This is a one-time fee for the length of the patient’s stay. Michigan sales tax will apply to these fees.
The service is automatically provided and billed when the patient is admitted. Therefore, each patient must decline the service if they choose by calling ext. 5513 from their room. They may pay by credit card by calling ext. 5513 or the charges will be placed on their home telephone bill.
