Andrew Cykiert, D.O., F.A.C.O.I.
Internal Medicine
Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Cykiert practices an approach to patient care that embraces preventive medicine and health maintenance. His personalized manner puts patients at ease and opens the door to effective physician-patient communication. He makes sure that patients and their families understand their illnesses and treatments.
As a primary care physician, Dr. Cykiert is able to treat most medical conditions and, when necessary, will refer his patients to competent specialists. He also cares for patients in the hospital setting.
Dr. Cykiert completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan and attended the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed both his internship and postgraduate residency at Botsford Hospital, where he now trains internal medicine residents. Dr. Cykiert is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Director of the Care Management Program at Botsford, Director of Continuing Medical Education at Botsford and Corporate Medical Director at the Visiting Nurse Association of Southeast Michigan. He holds professional memberships in the American College of Osteopathic Internists, the American College of Physicians and the American Osteopathic Association.
