David Crowl, Jr., D.O.
Board certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Crowl is a primary care physician caring for patients at Midwest Internal Medicine Associates’ (MIMA) Novi office, residents of Botsford Commons, as well as acutely ill hospitalized patients at Botsford Hospital. Dr. Crowl treats adult patients with a wide spectrum of illnesses, and has a special interest in complex diabetic and hypertension management and advanced cardiopulmonary disease. Dr. Crowl sees prevention as the first step to a strong foundation of healthy living and works with patients to educate and inspire a proactive approach to health. Dr. Crowl uses communication, state-of-the-art medical care and a compassionate approach with all his patients, which aligns well with MIMA’s designation as a Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan patient-centered medical home practice.
Dr. Crowl received his medical education for Michigan State College of Osteopathic Medicine (MSUCOM). He completed his internship and internal medicine residency at Garden City Hospital, where he held the position of chief resident. Dr. Crowl serves as an associate clinical professor for MSUCOM and received the 2010-2011 Medical Educator of the Year Award from Garden City Hospital. He continues to passionately train medical students, interns, and residents at Botsford Hospital. Dr. Crowl is a member of the American Diabetic Association, the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Osteopathic Internists and the Michigan Osteopathic Association.
