Amy Drinkert, R.N., C.N.P.
Amy Drinkert, Certified Nurse Practitioner, collaborates with the team of health care providers at Midwest Internal Medicine to offer patient-centered care in various settings. She follows patients wherever their healthcare needs may be, whether in the office, hospital, or skilled nursing facilities. Her focus is to provide continuity of care to her patients and support them through both their health challenges and achieving their wellness goals.
Amy completed both her bachelor’s and master’s studies at Madonna University in Livonia and is board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She is a member of the Michigan Council of Nurse Practitioners. Amy’s extensive background in cardiac and critical care nursing has significantly shaped her view of health promotion and disease prevention. She is passionate about disease prevention, early detection, and keeping her patients on the road to good health through health maintenance screenings and healthy lifestyle coaching. Other areas of interest include heart disease, diabetes and hypertension management, and women’s health issues.
