About Midwest Internal Medicine Associates

MIMA now offers two convenient locations to meet your medical needs. Our newly-built, Novi office opened in December 2013 and complements our long-established Livonia office.

Both our medical offices have a caring team of primary care doctors, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and professionals dedicated to providing comprehensive patient care. Practicing in the osteopathic tradition, MIMA's physicians take a "whole person" approach to medicine.

In addition to treating specific systems or illnesses, we regard your body as an integrated whole, encouraging patient wellness and preventive health care.

MIMA Is Your Patient-Center Medical Home

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan has designated Midwest Internal Medicine Associates as a patient-centered medical home practice. Centered on the patient, this holistic and comprehensive approach allows physicians to help meet patients' health goals and keep track of their specialist visits, test results and prescriptions. Patient health is monitored on an ongoing basis.

These physicians are among a select group of primary care physicians in Michigan who are improving health care quality by adopting patient-centered medical home practice model of care. The designation runs through June 2013.

Drs. Valenti, Cykiert, Crowl, Sundermann and Rossi attended and were Bronze Sponsors of the Botsford Autumn Gala in November 2012. Their support of the Gala will help to renovate and expand Botsford's Emergency & Trauma Center, as well as add an Observation Unit for patient stays of less than 24 hours.
