Meet Dr. Rabinowitz

Bert Rabinowitz, D.O., F.A.C.O.I., F.C.C.P.

Bert Rabinowitz, D.O., serves as the Medical Director of Botsford Hospital's Sleep Therapy Clinic. He practices pulmonary and sleep medicine and treats both adult and pediatric patients for sleep disorders.

Dr. Rabinowitz received advanced training in Sleep Medicine at the Stanford School of Sleep Medicine in Palo Alto, California and the Atlanta School of Sleep Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia and is board eligible in this discipline.

A graduate of Wayne State University and the Chicago College Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Rabinowitz completed residency training in Internal Medicine at Botsford Hospital and a fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Additional training in Bronchoscopy was received at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit and the University of California, San Diego. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine.

Dr. Rabinowitz has been actively involved in training and teaching of interns and residents at Botsford Hospital and is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He has served as the Director of the Pulmonary Section of the Department of Internal Medicine for more than 25 years.

Dr. Rabinowitz is a Fellow in the American College of Osteopathic Internists and a Fellow in the American College of Chest Physicians. He is a member of the American Thoracic Society and the Michigan Thoracic Society.
