This comprehensive course prepares 11 - 14 years-old for babysitting jobs. The program covers fundamentals of childcare, babysitter's responsibilities and more.

Topics include:

Growth and development
How to communicate effectively with children
What to do when you are in charge
How to recognize and respond to common household emergencies
Basic First Aid - who to call and what to do
What parents expect of a babysitter
What should be expected of parents
Tips on how to obtain a job
Setting fees

Two-Day Program Session:
Wednesday & Thursday, June 24 & 25 from 1:00 pm to 4:00
Wednesday & Thursday, July 29 & 30 from 9:00 am to 12 noon
Wednesday & Thursday, August 19 & 20 from 9:00 am to 12 noon
