Learn about the affects of alcohol with teens: Program presentation: Changing Behaviors, Saving Lives by the Emergency Nurses Association. This is a great tool to present and discuss before the end of school year.
Learn about the signs, symptoms and ways to prevent concussions. Tips and suggestions are offered for parents, coaches and teachers.
Learn about common distractions, what GDL means and how to discourage distracted
behaviors. These include texting, talking on the cell phone, navigating, talking with friends in the car, eating food while driving, playing with a radio, iphone or GPS system.
Learn what to expect once you arrive at an Emergency Room or Trauma Center along with what the difference is between them. This can be used as the classroom presentation/career day for a registered nurse.
