Application Process

An application form is available online or from Botsford's Department of Medical Administration and Education.

Each candidate is required to:

1. Submit an application in writing.
2. Be a graduate of an AOA approved college of osteopathic medicine.
3. Satisfactorily complete an AOA approved internship. Internship positions will be linked to the Residency. As of 2008, PYI year is consulted on part of the entire orthopedic residency (five year total).
4. Be licensed in the State of Michigan at the commencement of this residency program and registered with the Federal and State Controlled Substance Bureau. The application deadline for the next academic year is September 30th of the current year.
