Family Medicine with Osteopathic Recognition

Program Description

The Family Practice/OMM Residency Program at Beaumont Hospital, Farmington Hills is a three-year program following acceptance as a Family Practice resident. It provides all the essentials necessary for an outstanding graduate medical education and allows each resident to specialize in their area of personal interest.

Accredited by the Accreditation Council on Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), this residency program is fully approved by the Family Medicine Residency Review Committee of the ACGME.

Beaumont, Farmington Hills is affiliated with the State Wide Campus System (SCS) of Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and offers training to externs, interns, residents and fellows from all over the United States. Family Medicine is a participating SCS member. In addition, Beaumont, Farmington Hills maintains affiliations with many of the best teaching hospitals in the metropolitan Detroit area and when appropriate, residents will spend out rotations at these institutions.
