This program is a comprehensive education program that addresses each aspect of diabetes management. Topics cover meal planning, medications, self-blood glucose monitoring, the role of exercise and information on controlling blood glucose.
The program includes:
Daytime and evening classes are available. The program is certified by the Michigan Department of Community Health and has obtained national recognition by the American Diabetes Association. Insurance reimbursement is available through Medicare, Medicaid and many other insurance carriers.
