New Outpatient Imaging Center Opens on Hospital Campus

Botsford Hospital's new Imaging Center blends leading-edge technology with compassionate, patient-centered care, convenient location on the hospital campus and flexible appointment times.

Botsford provides the newest in advanced imaging technologies and diagnostic services, including:

• State-of-the-art, open-bore magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) that provides more room for the patient, making it more comfortable for larger patients and those who feel anxiety in tight spaces.
• 128-slice computed tomography (CT scan), one of the most powerful CT scans available, providing detailed pictures of the entire body, including the heart, to view a patient's coronary arteries.
• Combined PET (Positron Emission Tomography)-CT scans for more accurate identification of cancer.

Other imaging technology available includes digital mammography, providing advanced breast screening at the Botsford Breast Center. Botsford also offers a variety of diagnostic X-rays, stereotactic breast biopsies, ultrasounds and nuclear medicine studies.
