KIDS CORNER

Community EMS Camps
Call 1-866-FOR-LSTI (367-5784) for dates, times and fees.

• Eight- to 13-year-olds learn from EMS personnel about safety, preventing injuries and saving lives, basic first-aid skills, CPR, and actions to take in an emergency. Also, tour a 911-dispatch center and ambulance.
• Fourteen- to 18-year-olds learn about working in the health care industry from an EMT. Participate in accident-victim scenarios, from the 911 call to the ER. The 12-week program includes CPR and first-aid certification.
