Diabetes educator meets one-on-one with you. Day and evening classes. By appointment.
New to insulin & intensive insulin Management
For those who are new to administering insulin themselves or for patients requiring intensive management for better blood sugar control. One-on-one follow-up appointments are scheduled based on individual needs.
Insulin Pump Program
Want to use an insulin pump for diabetes management? Program length is determined by patient needs.
Gestational Diabetes Program
For pregnant women who have gestational diabetes and require nutrition and/or insulin instruction. Follow-up provided until the baby’s birth.

Baby Care Basics
Parents, grandparents and caregivers can learn the basics of baby care for newborns to 1-year-olds. Topics include: bathing, feeding, developmental stages, immunizations, common illnesses, safety-proofing your home and much more.

Childbirth Education Comprehensive Series
Prepares you and your partner for your child’s birth. Topics include: labor stages, strategies for managing discomfort, relaxation and breathing methods, the partner’s role in labor and delivery, medications and anesthesia, Cesarean section deliveries and more.
Weekday series: 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. for four weekdays
Saturday series:10:00 a.m.to 2:30 p.m.for two Saturdays

Breast-Feeding Basics
A certified lactation consultant, or breast-feeding educator, teaches this three-hour class, helping parents learn how to breast-feed their baby. Topics include: breast-feeding benefits, basic positions, solving common problems, options for pumping and storing milk, and Botsford’s breast-feeding services and products.
