Our Mission

The Botsford Foundation’s mission is to solicit philanthropic support for the services and programs that advance health care to Botsford communities. As the responsible steward for charitable contributions, we act to assure and fulfill the spirit of trust and humanitarianism with which donations are given.

Donations or gifts can be directed to Botsford Hospital or Botsford Commons Senior Community.

There are various giving opportunities. When you donate to The Botsford Foundation, 100% of your donation supports Botsford services and programs.

Your support makes a difference in our community, in the lives of those we serve and for caregivers who provide compassionate health care at Botsford.

Our Goals

A Promise of Excellence – The Botsford Foundation supports Botsford Hospital’s mission, which promises an uncompromising commitment to excellence and quality in the delivery of personal and compassionate health care.  Our efforts currently focus on:

Accomplishments

Walking through the hallways of Botsford Hospital or Botsford Commons, you can witness the impact of those who support Botsford communities by giving to The Botsford Foundation.

• Build the Botsford Cancer Center
• Construct the Botsford Breast Center
• Renovate the Emergency Department waiting room
• Improve family waiting areas throughout the hospital
• Create a pleasant enclosed patio at Botsford Commons where patients with dementia can safely enjoy an outdoor environment

And also...

• Purchase comfort items for patients in our Emergency Department, including new over-the-bed tables and stuffed animals and toys for children
• Pay for medication that improves the quality of life for cancer patients who are uninsured or underinsured
• Support medical education and research activities for medical students, residents and attending physicians
• Provide hospitalized children with DVD players, toys and games that reduce boredom during a hospital stay

Corporate Support

Botsford Hospital is dedicated to meeting the health care needs of our patients and the community.  Today’s health care environment dictates that we reach out to the corporate community to support our efforts.

• Host an event with the proceeds supporting The Botsford Foundation
• Offer a corporate matching gift when employees donate to Botsford
• Support our annual events such as our Spagnuolo Golf Classic and Botsford Autumn Gala
• Make a corporate donation to the hospital

Our Relationship with Botsford Hospital

The Botsford Foundation supports philanthropy for all of Botsford Health Care including Botsford Hospital and Botsford Commons.  Though the Botsford Foundation is a separate corporate entity we operate within Botsford Hospital’s 501 (c) 3 tax identification number.
