Personal Counseling - Private and confidential counseling is available to all Botsford physicians, employees, patients, families and volunteers. The Pastoral Care Department is available to discuss your concerns. The issue may be work related or of a personal nature.

Spiritual Support - Counseling is available to anyone struggling with spiritual issues either personal or patient related.

Officiating at Life Cycle Events - Professional clergy as well as lay-leaders are available to officiate at life cycle events such as Weddings, Funerals and Baptisms.

Memorial Services - For the death of loved ones. Three Memorial Services are conducted each year where the death of employees and/or their loved ones is memorialized.

Community Grief Support Group - Twice a month meetings focusing on issues of grief and loss lead by a Grief Counselor.

Educational Programs - Programs are offered on such topics as: empathy, death and dying issues, spiritual proficiency, religious/cultural diversity and comparative religion training.

Religious and Cultural Education and Consultation - Chaplains are available to answer questions about specific religious or cultural beliefs, practices and observances. This can be necessary when there is a patient with a religious belief or practice that is unfamiliar to the staff.

Weekly Worship Services - An Ecumenical Christian Prayer Service is conducted on Sunday mornings at 11:00 a.m. in the Botsford Hospital Chapel. The Helen L. DeRoy Memorial Chapel on the campus of Botsford Commons Senior Community holds services every Sunday at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Services - Held for holidays, special events and other occasions.

Location - In Botsford Hospital on the first floor in the East Pavilion, between the Critical Care complex and Emergency Center.
