APPLICATION PROCESS

Mission
The mission of Botsford Hospital's Volunteer Service Department is to engage the community into service positions that foster personal growth, educational experiences and friendships.  The Volunteer Services Department, through its dedicated volunteers offers a vital dimension of service excellence, compassion and technical/clerical support to patients, visitors and the hospital personnel.

From you as a member of the community to our hospital personnel, Volunteer Services strives to enhance efficient and mutually beneficial relationships.

Selection Process

We carefully review each individual's skills, availability and personality traits with open and available service positions to ensure beneficial placements for both you, our volunteer, and Botsford. Once a placement has been determined you are scheduled by our manager to attend the volunteer orientation.

Hour/Shift Requirements
We prefer a commitment of one four-hour shift, once a week, totaling up to one hundred hours per year as a minimum. this commitment can flex to accommodate those in school.

Available Service Areas

Please fill out the following application and forward to the Volunteer Office. When your application has been reviewed, you will receive a call if there is a volunteer position available during your preferred times and areas of interest, otherwise, you will be put on a waiting list.
