Cancer Center

Botsford's new 30,000 square-foot cancer center, located on the north side of Grand River in Farmington Hills, opened in January 2009.

Now Open: the Dr. Louis & Lucille Spagnuolo Breast Center

With more than 50,000 people in Michigan expected to receive a diagnosis of cancer each year, this center brings excellence in medical oncology coupled with leading-edge technology to many area communities. Specifically, the center provides:

• Advanced diagnostic capabilities, including in-house cat scan (CT) for patient simulation and treatment planning, with the availability of diagnostic PET CT.
• Radiation oncology using an Elektra Synergy Accelerator, a multi-functional linear accelerator with intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) and image guided radiation therapy (IGRT).
• Medical oncology practices providing a total of 19 suites or infusion bays.

Botsford's commitment to the environment is shown by this being Michigan's first cancer center certified under the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System. It is environmentally friendly.
