
The Dr. Louis and Lucille Spagnuolo Breast Center is in the new Botsford Cancer Center located on Botsford Hospital’s main campus.
The Breast Center brings digital mammography to Botsford, which allows radiologists to review electronic images of the breast using high-resolution monitors. Images can then be manipulated by brightness, contrast and zoom to highlight specific areas of interest. And digital images can be stored easily, copied without loss of any information and transmitted easily without relying on one set of original films.

By making this screening experience less intimidating and more comfortable in the Botsford Breast Center, Botsford encourages women not to delay their mammograms.
In Michigan, more than 6,000 women will develop breast cancer next year. And if found and treated early, the five-year survival rate is almost 100%. For those women whose mammograms may lead toa cancer diagnosis, they have the convenience of moving from diagnosis to treatment seamlessly in the Botsford Cancer Center.
