Beat the Heat with Free Activities at the Botsford Center for Health Improvement

Novi, Mich. (July 16, 2009)---“Beat the Heat” with the Botsford Center for Health Improvement from Monday, July 20 through Thursday, July 23. The free event includes group fitness classes, personalized attention and use of all fitness equipment, pool access, a summer sale on pro shop items, a “sweet and light” dessert demonstration on Thursday evening and giveaways including smoothies and pedometers. An Ask the Personal Trainer booth* will also be open to answer all fitness, nutrition and training questions from a certified personal trainer and nutrition and lifestyle coach. Personal training packages booked at the booth will receive a 10 percent discount. 
The Beat the Heat schedule includes the following activities: 
Gentle Aerobics: 8-9a.m., 10-11a.m. and 11a.m.-noon 
Sit and Be Fit: 12:15-1:00p.m. 
Sweet and Low Tai Chi: 1:30-2:30p.m. 
Intermediate Aqua: 5-6 p.m. 
Iron Maidens: 6-6:45p.m. 
Core Conditioning: 6-6:45a.m. 
Gentle Aerobics: 8-9a.m. and 5-6p.m. 
Weight Management Software Demos: 8-11a.m. (Track your caloric intake and expenditure with a great in-home software program that helps determine your daily calorie budget) 
Yoga: 10-11a.m. and 6:30-7:30p.m. 
Balance Basics: 11:15a.m.-12:15p.m.

Aqua Fit: 6-7p.m.
