Farmington Hills, Mich. (August 19, 2014)---Botsford Hospital welcomes all to attend the next Walk with a Doc---a FREE community walk led by a health caregiver, emphasizing exercise and providing health tips---on Thursday, August 21, noon-1 p.m. Dr. Jacklyn McParlane, a board-certified emergency medicine physician, will talk about seasonal healthy eating. Special guest: "Dr. Don" from 99.5 WYCD, Detroit's country music radio station with music, prizes, and giveaways.
WWADs are held at the Heritage Park Nature Center in Farmington Hills. The park is on the west side of Farmington Road, between 10 and 11 Mile Roads. Look for WWAD dates at noon on the third Thursday of every month through November. Walks held rain or shine. Healthy snacks provided. Register by calling Botsford at 1-877-477-Doc1 (3621), option #1.
