Farmington Hills, Mich. (July 2, 2014)---Botsford Hospital welcomes all to attend the next Walk with a Doc---a FREE community walk led by a physician, emphasizing exercise and providing health tips---on Thursday, July 17, noon-1 p.m. Dr. Patricia Schmidt, a board-certified internist, will talk about reforming your health and offer strategies for healthy living. She will explain how exercise, nutrition, rest, play, and humor are important in the management of chronic medical conditions; how to put balance into your life; and how to develop healthy habits.
WWADs are held at the Heritage Park Nature Center in Farmington Hills. The park is on the west side of Farmington Road, between 10 and 11 Mile Roads. Look for WWAD dates at noon on the third Thursday of every month through November. Walks held rain or shine. Healthy snacks provided. Register by calling Botsford at 1-877-477-Doc1 (3621), option #1.
