Botsford News Release
Farmington Hills, Mich. (December 12, 2013)---Members of seventh grade Cadet Girl Scout Troop 42386 in Farmington donated many Jared Boxes to Botsford Hospital recently. The Jared Box Project, www.jaredbox.com, shows kids how to fill boxes with small gifts, toys, cards, and games, and deliver these to their local hospital. Botsford staff will give the boxes to children to provide a special diversion as they receive treatment or visit a loved one who is a patient at the hospital.
Troop leader Lynn Gagner along with her daughter Eleanor, 12, and other troop members Isabelle Gerhart, 12, Riane Molloy, 12, Lily Cromwell, 12, and Erin Moylan, 12, arrived at Botsford’s New Beginnings Maternity Center and were welcomed by Botsford's Manager of Maternal-Child Health Candice Templin, RN.
