Neonatologist Joins Medical Staff at Botsford Hospital

Farmington Hills, Mich. (April 10, 2009)---Jerald Purifoy, M.D., has joined the medical staff at Botsford Hospital. 
Board certified in Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, Dr. Purifoy is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is a member of the Detroit Pediatric Society and the Old North State Medical Society. 
Dr. Purifoy received his medical education from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He completed an internship and residency in Pediatrics at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. Dr. Purifoy also performed a Newborn Critical Care fellowship at Duke University Medical Center in North Carolina.
