Physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist Kori Rothman, D.O., joins Botsford Hospital medical staff

Farmington Hills, Mich. (September 17, 2013)---Kori Rothman, D.O., has joined the medical staff at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills. This board-certified physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist sees patients at two locations of Rehabilitation Physicians, P.C.: at 28455 Haggerty Rd., Suite 200, in Novi, phone (248) 893-3200; and at 19850 Middlebelt Rd., in Livonia, phone (248) 615-0060. 
After graduating from Midwestern University – Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Illinois, Dr. Rothman completed her yearlong traditional rotating internship at Botsford. She continued her post-doctoral training with the three-year physical medicine and rehabilitation residency program at University of Michigan, where she subsequently completed a yearlong interventional spine fellowship. 
Dr. Rothman is a member of three ongoing research projects and has been involved in a variety of clinical research projects for more than a decade. Her work has appeared in peer-reviewed journals as co-author. Dr. Rothman's research interests include interventional and non-interventional spine, sports medicine, and community health.  
With a wide clinical experience, Dr. Rothman has worked with the University of Michigan women's basketball team and Eastern Michigan University's football team. She has also given free health care to the homeless as a volunteer at the Rainbow Clinic and the REST Clinic in Illinois. A marathon runner, Dr. Rothman has also served as a volunteer for the New York City Marathon Medical Team. 
Dr. Rothman is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and the American Academy of Pain Medicine.
