Pain Specialist Karl Freydl, D.O., Joins Medical Staff at Botsford Hospital

Farmington Hills, Mich. (February 7, 2013)---Karl R. Freydl, D.O., has joined the medical staff at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills. He is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation as well as pain management. Dr. Freydl sees patients at Northville Pain Specialists, 215 East Main St., Suite 201, Northville, (248) 773-7964. 
After receiving his medical education from Midwestern University's Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine (CCOM), Dr. Freydl served a one-year internship at Mishawaka Community Hospital in Illinois before moving on to his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. He completed two fellowships: one at the University of Michigan's Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation in interventional spine procedures and pain management; the other at CCOM in manipulative medicine. 
Dr. Freydl has attained the rank of diplomate with the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and is a member of several medical societies, including the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation; the Physiatrist Association for Sports, Spine & Occupational Rehabilitation; the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians; the Michigan Spinal Injection Society; and the International Spine Intervention Society.
