Farmington Hills, Mich. (August 9, 2012)---Amy P. DeRosa, D.O., has joined the medical staff at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills. This plastic and reconstructive surgeon sees patients at RTH Plastic Surgery, 31100 Telegraph Rd., Suite 280, in Bingham Farms, (248) 208-8844.
After receiving her medical education from Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Vallejo, California, Dr. DeRosa served her first year of post-graduate clinical training at Exempla St. Joseph Medical Center in Denver, Colorado. She went on to finish residency training in general surgery at Mt. Clemens Regional Medical Center, serving as chief resident in her final year. Dr. DeRosa completed the plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at Botsford.
Dr. DeRosa was included in "Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare" during most of her post-graduate clinical training. She also received the Dorothy V. Kraft Resident Award/Scholarship during her general surgery residency. Her name appeared on the dean's lists both at the undergraduate and medical school levels.
Botsford Hospital is a multi-specialty 330 bed hospital and verified trauma center located in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
