Farmington Hills, Mich. (June 25, 2012)---Karen Plymel, M.D., has joined the medical staff at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills. This board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist sees patients at Michigan Perinatal Associates, P.C., 18181 Oakwood Blvd., Suite 302, Dearborn, (313) 593-5957.
After receiving her medical education from Ross University School of Medicine, Dr. Plymel performed her clinical training at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, where she served as the 2008 administrative chief resident. Prior to attending medical school, she worked as a certified occupational therapist and was director of occupational therapy at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia.
Dr. Plymel is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the Central Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology.
Botsford Hospital is a multi-specialty 330 bed hospital and verified trauma center located in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
