Botsford News Release
Farmington Hills, Mich. (February 17, 2012)---Regina A. Doxtader, CPA, has been promoted to vice-president and chief financial officer of Botsford Health Care, which comprises Botsford Hospital, Botsford Commons Senior Community, Community Emergency Medical Service, The Botsford Foundation, and Botsford Clinic System. She began her new position January 1.
In addition to traditional CFO responsibilities, Doxtader has assumed leadership for corporate-wide revenue cycle activities. The hospital’s Health Information Management Department now reports her as well.
Her tenure at Botsford began in 2002 as corporate controller. Another promotion came in 2009, when Doxtader was promoted to vice-president and assistant treasurer.
She also serves as both member and treasurer of the 2012 Board of Directors of the American Osteopathic Foundation, which is the philanthropic arm of the American Osteopathic Association.
Previously, Doxtader worked at Deloitte & Touche LLP for more than 13 years where she served a health care client base.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and management from Albion College.
Botsford Hospital is a multi-specialty 330 bed hospital and verified trauma center located in Farmington Hills, Michigan. The campus also houses an imaging center and a comprehensive care cancer center. Botsford Hospital is also home to an extensive medical education program and is part of Michigan State University's statewide campus system. Botsford Hospital each year cares for approximately 16,000 inpatients and more than 60,000 emergency and trauma patients with a team of 2,500 employees, 300 volunteers and more than 600 physicians. A not-for-profit hospital, Botsford provided almost $10.5 million in community benefit during its 2011 fiscal year.
