Farmington Hills, Mich. (December 6, 2011)---Brian J. Sabb, D.O., has joined the medical staff at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills. The practice of this board-certified diagnostic radiologist is hospital based through Botsford Medical Imaging, P.C. Dr. Sabb's specialty is as an orthopedic radiologist, diagnosing disease and injury of the musculoskeletal structure. He is a researcher and widely published author on a variety of orthopedic imaging topics and has had several academic appointments. Dr. Sabb also serves as a team physician to the University of Michigan and the Eastern Michigan University Athletic Departments.
After receiving his medical education from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Sabb completed the diagnostic radiology residency at Case Western Reserve University/University Hospitals of Cleveland in Ohio. He served as chief resident in his final year of residency. Dr. Sabb went on to complete the musculoskeletal radiology fellowship at Jefferson Medical College/Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Among the professional organizations to which Dr. Sabb belongs are the American Roentgen Ray Society, the American College of Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America, the American Osteopathic Association, the Society of Skeletal Radiology and the Michigan Orthopedic Society.
