Botsford Physician Honored at Medical Conference in Tucson

Farmington Hills, Mich. (June 28, 2011)---Steven J. Kin, D.O., a otorhinolaryngologist and specialist in Oro-Facial Plastic Surgery at Botsford Hospital, received the Governors Achievement Award at the recent annual Clinical Assembly of the American Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery in Tucson, Arizona.  
Dr. Kin was honored for his five years of recent service to the Board of Examiners for Otorhinolaryngology; the examining board administers oral and written certifying examinations for physicians earning board certification in that field. As a board member, Dr. Kin is actively involved in the revision, review and administration of the examination process. He has served the Board in various capacities since 1999. 
Dr. Kin specializes in all conditions related to the ear, nose and throat, facial reconstruction, sinus, snoring, allergy and voice difficulties for adults and children. He is a fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Otorhinolaryngology and a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. 
A graduate of the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Kin completed an internship and residency at Botsford Hospital where he was chief resident in 1991-1992. He practices medicine at the Center for Ear, Nose and Throat, P.C. in Rochester Hills and West Bloomfield.
