Botsford News Release
Farmington Hills, Mich. (April 25, 2011)---Kassandra Luoma, RN, FNP-BC, has joined the medical staff at Botsford Hospital.
Ms. Luoma, a board-certified family nurse practitioner, sees patients at the South Redford School Based Health Center located at the John D. Pierce Middle School, 25605 Orangelawn in Redford Township. The office number is (313) 242-0570. The health center exists through a partnership between Botsford Hospital and the South Redford School District and serves the primary health care needs of those aged 10 through 21 in the school district.
Ms. Luoma received her Master of Science from University of Rochester in New York and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northern Michigan University in Marquette.
Botsford Hospital is a multi-specialty 330 bed hospital and verified trauma center located in Farmington Hills, Michigan. The campus also houses an imaging center and a comprehensive care cancer center. Botsford Hospital is also home to an extensive medical education program and is part of Michigan State University's statewide campus system. Botsford Hospital each year cares for approximately 16,000 inpatients and more than 60,000 emergency and trauma patients with a team of 2,500 employees, 300 volunteers and more than 600 physicians.
