Farmington Hills, Mich. (January 11, 2011)---Botsford Hospital is partnering with Lighthouse Worship Center in Livonia to offer a Health and Wellness Fair. The free event will take place on January 19 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Lighthouse Worship Center on 19827 Middlebelt Road in Livonia. Members of the community are invited to take part.
Blood pressure screenings will be offered and free cholesterol screenings will be given to the first 20 participants. Representatives from Botsford’s Pharmacy Department, Joint Replacement program, Fitness Center, Cancer Center and other programs will be available to answer questions.
Nicholle Mehr, director of the Botsford Cancer Center will speak at 6 p.m. on
Breast, Prostate, and Head and Neck Cancers: Risk Factors, Diagnosis and Treatment.
