New Approach to Pain Management Now Available in Novi

Farmington Hills, Mich. (December 17, 2010)---Richard Herman, D.O. is now treating patients at the Center for Neuroreactive Medicine in Novi.

Dr Herman, a board certified physician and surgeon, is an assistant clinical professor in OB/GYN at Michigan State University and is a Fellow and Senior Member of the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOOG). Dr. Herman is also affiliated with the American Osteopathic Association, the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, and the Michigan Osteopathic Association of Physicians and Surgeons.

Neuroreactive medicine deals with the brain’s response to illness, physical injury or emotional trauma. By retraining the brain to react, respond and function in the way it did prior to the injury, symptoms can be reduced or eliminated. Many medical conditions may be treated through neuroreactive medicine. “We most commonly treat chronic pain, fibromyalgia, hypersensitivity, neuralgia, neuropathy, numbness, post-traumatic stress disorder, rotator cuff injury and stroke,” said Dr. Herman.

The Center for Neuroreactive Medicine is located in the Botsford Wellness Complex at the Total Rehabilitation and Athletic Conditioning Center at 39830 Grand River, Suite B 3 in Novi. New patients and referral are welcome. Appointments can be made by calling (248) 476-6924. Visit Dr. Herman's website at www.AmazingTreatment.com.
