Farmington Hills, Mich. (November 30, 2010)---Are you facing financial and emotional stress from medical bills? Green Path Debt Solutions, a non-profit agency that assists consumers with financial issues, will conduct an informational seminar on Thursday, December 16 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Botsford Hospital that will teach strategies for managing your debt.
Learn about resources available, how to handle medical and credit debt, effective budgeting techniques and ways to develop repayment plans. Green Path offers the following suggestions with medical bills:
- Communicate with your doctor’s office.
- Review your bills carefully.
- Don’t use your credit card as a safety net.
- Ask for help.
- Negotiate your debt.
- Seek out professional help.
- Ask first.
