Farmington Hills, Mich. (July 26, 2010)---Take steps to protect your health with a free cancer screening and educational event at the Botsford Hospital Cancer Center on Saturday, October 2 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Nationally recognized physicians will speak on the causes, prevention, diagnosis and new treatments of specific cancers including lung, breast, head & neck, prostate, and colorectal. Screenings offered will include mammograms, prostate-specific antigen (PSA) test, rectal exams, oral screenings with the ViziLite Plus System, blood stool tests, skin checks, and preliminary genetics screenings.

The Botsford Cancer Center is located at 27900 Grand River Avenue in Farmington Hills. Breadsmith of Bloomfield Hills has donated refreshments for this event.
Botsford Hospital is a multi-specialty 330 bed hospital and verified trauma center located in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
