Novi, Mich. (February 23, 2010)---The Botsford Center for Health Improvement is offering a medically supervised weight loss program. The 20-week program called ReNew at Botsford Center for Health Improvement is designed for people who want to transform their life by losing 40 or more pounds.
Informational sessions will be held at the Botsford Center for Health Improvement located at 39750 Grand River Ave. in Novi on Tuesday, March 2 at 6 p.m., Thursday, March 4 at noon and Saturday, March 6 at noon. Sessions will also be held in room 2 East A at Botsford Hospital located at 28050 Grand River Ave. in Farmington Hills on Tuesday, March 9 at noon and Thursday, March 11 at 5 p.m.
ReNew utilizes a meal replacement supplement with medically managed support and monitoring with Joseph Williams, D.O., a physician who specializes in Family Medicine. ReNew can help participants lose weight in a safe, rapid and effective manner, improve control of diabetes and high blood pressure, improve blood lipids, and make permanent lifestyle changes.
The program includes medical monitoring, 20 weeks of educational/behavioral sessions, coaching contact in addition to weekly sessions, use of high quality meal replacement, assistance with meal planning and transition phase of program. Participants will receive an introduction to physical activity and ongoing practice sessions after the first 20 weeks.
